amazingly...dunno why after having abt 4 hrs of sleep after the lao yu sheng..


i was alot more fresh the next day!
so after the end of the work week..


i and a group of colleagues went to alvito bar with my colleagues driving his dad's mercs..
i tell you...the mercs is really different..powerful...steady and comfortable..

we didn't really take pics..but it was not bad...played poker cards..listened to the live band which was really quite good

dinner with B31 (tt's the name of my class from year 1 sem 1)

basically..you only get a class name during the sem1 of uni..cos that's the only class tat is arranged for you which you do get to alter

this is a rather tame effort since it's at yang min's house .. we didn't want to dirty her place
but definitely one with the best efforts by everyone to ensure we strike 4D and COE prices drop further though the blessings of the prosperity dish..

I finally for rid of my pda phone!



Reasons:

1. Freaking heavy!!!


2. Battery Life sucks!!! ( If you could get through a day with just receiving a few sms and still find that your phone is running close to empty on its tank. then ok lor...)


3. Everytime the phone runs out of battery, it loses all its memory..or the analogy is similar to having your phone being formatted. This means losing all your contacts and your settings! well..i lost a very important number because it ran out of battery after charging the day before. No no..it wasn't because i made alot of calls, it was just because my colleague was browsing some krabi pictures i stored on thy phone.


4. It's HUGE! it's like...ermmm...Gianomous (it's how my cousin who is from the U.S describes something gigantic and enormous). to me..it's like macham a mini tissue box...arghh..


5. Because of point 4 and 4, i can't really put into the pockets of tight jeans. which means i can't carry it around during work!

For anyone who is considering of getting a smartphone or pda phone, please heed the above considerations before you make your purchase to satisfy your gadget fetish. ESPECIALLY point 2! since it's a common trait of ALL smartphones regardless of the year of make. The new smartphone are of course smaller..and they dun get "formatted" when their battery runs out. But...their battery still sucks! Most importantly, i found out that i dun read documents on the move cos the words are just too small, i rather watch videos on the tv, i dun need wo surf the internet using wi-fi when i'm in the shopping complex.

SO.....

i finally got the phone i wanted..no..it's not the iphone..after realising that it's battery life sucks as well..

i can't care of what the reviews or how people said it was difficult to use..It's all nonsense ... since i've been using it for 2 weeks as of now...it's FABULOUS...

small(11mm thick)..light (70+g)...good enought battery life..comfortable enought to text

AND i lurrvve the slide feeling of the phone ... PLUS it's cheap!

ok..it's not 3G...i could have got the 3G version chocolate but that would set me a couple of hundred dollars more but i dun use 3G at all...but i wouldn't have mind the 2 mega-pixel camera at all..

gosh..this sounds like i'm making a show-off pitch or a tech review of phones already..

well...it might be..cos i really am proud of my sweet chocolate instead of the detestable brick!

I know she is right..but...all this is based on the current situation...by the time i'm so old that white hair dun even grow out of the bald head...who knows whether that money is too little or too much ...what if government change some medisave or medical policies or legislation...what if by then the treatment of cancer is sooo cheap you just have to be "radiated" in from of your laptop! WHO KNOWS!

What i know is every normal guy who has the right balance of testerone in his body will want some kind of vehicle with runs fast...preferably with 4 wheels...
if i dun buy the car, i"ll be able to spend the money to go to Krabi every month..
i'll be able to buy a gadget that will keep my fingers fidgetting and frolicking all over every month...
buy lottsa books to read (something i did successfully with 1 book but i dun think it will sustain)
save some money to buy a house which would make a good investment since property investments seems to yield one of the best and assured returns in Singapore!

another good point brought up by my friend is that girls like guys who have cars...
ya ..ya..character is one thing...just think...both guys have good character..but one has car..
TIAO already right! The answer is obvious.

I felt undermined once in my life that I dun have a car already. I really DO NOT want to experience it again.

A new cage for my chins...the main reason for the new cage was that the little fella really can squeeze thru the grills of the new ones. My parents had a hard time trying to capture the escapee and bringing it home...they always worried that the baby's not getting enought milk or whatever...
