went back to NTU to borrow rope for the coming Krabi trip..
it was raining..those which were really comfortable with the strong winds and makes you hide in the warmth of the blanket
it was really weird how memories comes back to you
maybe they were part of those that faded away with what i wanted to ditch and forget
I drove into S4 car park, memories of myself walking down the stairs to the power lab. I was holding some chee kueh and coffee, just in case she got hungry
I rushed to the toilet to relieve myself, only to be welcomed by the stale air freshener that NTU uses. It was so familiar, the smell and the feeling.
Very still emotions, but they were very strong...very very strong
The stairways of the professor's office were as quiet as ever, the familiar faces of several prof i still recognise. The air conditioning was un-nervingly sweet, chilling and calm. The echoes of each step was so clearly heard. At the back of my head, should i visit my fyp prof who has been kind to me? or maybe i should walk to my design lab where i had slogged and discussed my HRM and design projects.
I peeeked into the design lab. The computers were still the same models. ha..NTU does not change everything after all. I slid my hand along the tables that hid the humming computers from sight. could see FYP students furiously trying to type their reports. I figured they had to be FYP students, who else would be typing reports at a time like now!
The canteen made little changes, not much that i noticed anyway. The fruit stall moved and gave way to an indian stall. I decided to get a coffee. It was not as sweet as those I get at office, but it was packed with caffine, lottsa which under-grads need for lectures and studying last minute for exams. I remembered how much i liked to eat the chicken noodles, how long the queue for the vegetarian stall was, how i always order fish soup at the nonya stall to skip the long queue.
I suddenly remembered the chatty photocopy shop auntie. Maybe i wanted someone in the school to recognise me. I went to look for her but she was not there already. Walked to iHub, logged on and was booted out cause i did not realise that you need to book a seat to use the computers there. It wasn't so complicated last time.
Eric was consulting his prof, must had been abt tutorials and questions to prepare for exams. I sat outside the photocopy shop to wait for him, listening to the rain, observing how the students behaved. Almost all looked nervy, flustered and in a hurry. probably cause it's exams period. they exchanged conversations on which tutorial answers each had and that their promise to send it to each other.
I kept looking back behing my shoulder expecting to see someone familiar, something foolish since most of the pple i know in NTU have left. I wasn't the most popular person in the faculty of course, but i sitll manage to say hi to someone at most of the aisle when i was still studying there.
so much emotions which i did not know how to describe. My heart pounded hard with the effect from the caffine. It was calm and peaceful somehow. The overload of memories brought different waves. i missed NTU alot because there were really great memories ... of ...
i dun want to think about it anymore

I learnt the hammerlock today..
>Wikipedia Hammerlock:
The wrestler grabs his/her opponent's arm, pulling it around behind the opponent's back. This stretches the pectorals and shoulder joint, and immobilizes the arm. This is a legitimate controlling/debilitating hold, and is commonly used by police officers in the US to subdue uncooperative persons for arrest.
but it's actually something like this..haha

finally my rest days..till wednesday night at least..
just to share an interesting encounter just 2 days back at work
I was in the changing room to remove my suit and returning back into the office.
I went to my area and thought i saw a ghost..
this was what i saw
her head was turned inside to face the wall revealing just her hair coming out from her suit (where the face should be). then she wraps her hands inside somemore.
The photo probable didn't really bring out the same effect as when I was there. Gosh!
Of course it was just another one of the operators who were trying to get quick snooze by sleeping in a secluded corner (which is where my changing area is)
It took me to shock for 0.5 secs. When i recoverd i knew i just had to take a picture with my camera phone.
